When I think about the Ritz-Carlton, two things come to mind: The first is the movie Young Frankenstein when actor Frank Boyle dances around as the monster while dressed in top hat, tux and cane to the tune of Puttin’ on the Ritz. Great movie. The other is HERO|farm’s recent outing to the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans on June 18th when we were asked to be special guest bartenders.
HERO|farm, who’s tips were donated toChildren’s Hospital of New Orleans, was invited to be guest bartenders at the Ritz Lounge for the performance of famed trumpeter and vocalistJeremy Davenport. There we served delicious Davenportinis, a house favorite that is made of Grey Goose Vodka, pineapple juice, limoncello and Chambord.
Thanks to everyone for the great turnout and generous tips for Children’s Hospital. We had a great time and hope to do it again soon!
