Social media exploded yesterday as the NFL’s Free Agency period opened with wild trades and signings, causing Facebook and Twitter to be flooded with posts from cheering, jeering and crying fans.
Amidst the 100-mile-per-hour craziness, Houston Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt took to Twitter to joke around on what is typically a stressful day for professional football players and did what many others do on days like this: report fake transactions. The difference is the Houston Texans star wasn’t exactly trying to fool anyone, using characters from movies in his reports such as:
• Adam Banks from “The Mighty Ducks”
• Henry Rowengartner from “Rookie of the Year”
• Julius Campbell from “Remember the Titans”
• Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez from “The Sandlot”
J.J. is one funny dude — Hands-down one of our top favorite players outside of the Saints.
SOURCES: 3-team, 3-sport trade. Adam Banks to T.C. Williams Titans, Henry Rowengartner to Mighty Ducks, Julius Cambell to Chicago Cubs.

@TJ_Yates I’ve been told that Vaughn has been cut to make room to sign Air Bud. Sources say that Uncle Rico will attend the 2016 NFL Combine

@TJ_Yates that’s big news if confirmed. Also hearing from sources that Boobie Miles and Tim Riggins will also be attending.

@Ky1eLong Air Bud has already been dealt. I’m told Bobby Boucher and “Icebox” are both on the trading block, for teams needing a LB/FB type

@RealPeterson21 Goldberg got the Franchise Tag early in the offseason, he’s not going anywhere. The Ducks want Louie Lastik as his backup.
