Raise a Martini or 2 This Week – “Grow Grow Google” Edition
The pop, tech, NOLA, music and marketing culture you should be celebrating at happy hour:

Google Turns 15 - Obamacare - Salute to the week of September 27

➔ It’s Google’s 15th birthday…And they celebrated where it all started: The garage.
➔ Hope they partied like this pig…Who drank 18 beers and fought a cow.
➔ More of a lover than a fighter? So is this touchy little guy.….Oh, and baseball’s exciting again…Zzzz.
➔ But not as exciting as riding the world’s largest functioning motorcycle
➔ To New York for some waffles…Cuz everything smells like maple syrup.
➔ Or take the Lambo…Like the Need for Speed game that is finally a terrible movie with Aaron Paul (the Breaking Bad sidekick).
➔ And continue to drive very, very fast through Northampton’s clown ghetto…Seriously creepy.
➔ Maybe listen to the Gibson Brothers who just dominated the International Bluegrass Music Awards.
➔ Of course it’s a real award…Something that Robin Williams’ new show about advertising will never see.
➔ Sarah Michelle Gellar is also in it…You know, Buffy – created by Joss Whedon – who just launched Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
➔ WAIT! Don’t lose all hope in the visual medium yet…“Dom Hemingway” with Jude Law looks righteous.
➔ You’ll need a shower after watching that…A Wes Welker 40 minute shower.
➔ Then you’ll be just clean enough for this dirty Kimmel vs. Kanye rap battle. We’re at DefKanye 5!
➔ At least he didn’t call him a pink dolphin…which is a real thing in Louisiana.
➔ Home of voodoo and other scary Halloweenish things…Like this Franz Ferdinand music/horror/camp tribute video: “Evil Eye”
➔ Now who’s hungry after that? I hear Burger King’s new healthy “Satisfries” really hit the spot.

Cheers! This is what hit our radar this week.
